Rapids camp was privy to have hosted the first ever Africa Olympic Canoe qualifier /Kayaking championship in January 2008 with over 16 African countries participating in breath taking event. In 2015 we hosted again for second time the RIO 2016 qualifiers after a request from International Canoe Federation (ICF).Rapids Camp has the best site to capture life photos for rafting and Kayaking Junkies in Kenya, being the only camp in with a massive waterfall.
We do suggest after rafting in Sagana(Tana) Kenya, you can still take advantage of our camp site activities which consist of camping, Kayaking, team building, river trekking, rock climbing. Just relax in our beautiful manicured lawns. Alarcate lunch at the Rapids Camp is served as you wait. The Itinerary
Depart Nairobi for Sagana via the super highway and arrive in Sagana by mid-morning. Have a outdoor trail in the parks nature walk tours.

Picnic lunch by the river or enjoy the lodge facilities for long time travellers. After lunch head out for white water rafting in many ways the river is unique wonderful scenery, a multitude of wild animals such as bushbuck, giraffes, buffalo and crocodiles, monkeys and baboons among the wide range of eco-system with a variety range of birds species.
